Ecosign's Master Plan for St. Anton Ski Resort reshaped the area for the 2001 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. We incorporated competitive ski designs, a spectator stadium, and 80,000 m² of land for future development, enhancing the resort’s infrastructure.

In 1998, Ecosign prepared a Master Plan for the necessary redesign of the St. Anton Ski Resort in preparation for the 2001 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. The Master Plan included men’s and women’s downhill pistes (designed in collaboration with Karl Schranz), giant slalom and slalom courses, a new permanent finish area spectator stadium and tribunes.

Our team also drafted a plan to move the railway out of St. Anton’s centre to create room for the spectator stadium and tribunes, both of which remain in use today. Ecosign’s work resulted in St. Anton gaining 80,000 m² of free ground for future development of parks and recreation facilities; surface and underground parking; and potential expansion of the resort village centre.
