Ecosign's Master Plan for Porté Puymorens envisioned a transformative ski area expansion with a lift and trail connection to Grandvalira, alongside a new resort development, 18-hole golf course, and expanded accommodations, reshaping the Pyrenees village into a vibrant year-round destination.

Porté Puymorens’ Ski Area Master Plan includes a future lift and ski trail connection with Grandvalira, whereas the Land Use Plan includes an 18-hole golf course along the Riu de Querol with a new, 2,300-bed resort development west of the existing Porté Puymorens townsite. The Land Use Plan also proposes a second resort development area of 5,700 beds in the La Vignole area, and day skier parking located in La Vignole and Col du Puymorens.

The Porté Puymorens Ski Area is in the Pyrenees mountains of southern France. The Village of Porté Puymorens (population approximately 100 people), is a ten-minute drive from the ski village of Pas de la Casa and the pistes and lifts of Grandvalira in Andorra, one of the largest ski areas in Europe.
