Ecosign’s comprehensive master planning work is transforming Nesfjellet into one of Norway’s premier all‑season mountain destinations. With modern lift infrastructure, a vibrant, walkable village core, and year‑round recreation, the resort is experiencing rapid, sustainable growth.

Since 2020, Ecosign has been leading the transformation of Nesfjellet into one of Norway’s premier four‑season mountain destinations. Our comprehensive master plan integrates lift infrastructure, ski terrain, village design, and year‑round recreation to support sustainable growth. Early investments, such as Norway’s first 8‑seater chairlift and new ski‑in/ski‑out accommodations, have helped winter visitation nearly triple to 80,000 guests.

The Master Plan outlines seven new lifts, expanded terrain, and a walkable village core featuring 3,000 warm beds, restaurants, retail, and guest amenities. Plans also include 2,000 additional slopeside beds and full integration with the proposed Skyway Hallingdal gondola, linking Nesbyen to the mountain summit and unlocking a 1,000‑metre continuous descent. The base of the gondola is adjacent to the Hallingdalsveien highway and train station, with access to downtown Oslo in about two and a half hours.
