Ecosign's work with Mammoth Mountain has informed its transformation into a premier destination, integrating modern lifts, extensive accommodations, and enhanced recreational facilities. Our comprehensive Master Plan focuses on year-round accessibility, skier circulation, and community growth, ensuring a sustainable future for the resort.

Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in Mammoth Lakes, California has grown to be one of the largest, most-frequented ski areas in the United States. Ecosign’s Master Plan for the ski area, completed in 1997, was implemented in short order with the installation of seven detachable-grip chairlifts, a two-section, eight-passenger gondola from the Main Lodge to the Summit via the Mid Chalet, and a 15-passenger gondola from the North Village to the Canyon Lodge.

In 2004, Mammoth Mountain requested that Ecosign prepare village concepts for the main base area that features staging facilities for approximately 7,500 day skiers, 2,000 tourist beds, and approximately 250 employee beds.

In 2007, Ecosign prepared a Master Development Plan update to guide the development of skiing and year-round recreational facilities for the Mammoth ski area to meet the steadily growing need for quality year-round recreational facilities. The Master Development Plan was updated by Ecosign in 2021.
