Ecosign's ongoing collaboration with Le Massif de Charlevoix has contributed to its premier ski resort destination status. By integrating innovative designs for skiing, real estate, and leisure facilities, our designs have enhanced guest experiences while boosting local tourism in Quebec.
Le Massif de Charlevoix is on the St. Lawrence River in Petite-Rivière-Saint François, approximately 85 km northeast of Québec City, Canada. Ecosign has completed resort master planning work for Le Massif de Charlevoix since 2009 which included the detailed planning for a parking lot expansion, ski area expansion and beginner learning areas at the Chalet du Sommet area, including detailed grading plans, three moving carpets and two platter lifts.
In 2014, Ecosign was tasked with finding a suitable location for the integration of a Club Med Resort and beginner ski zone within the existing ski area. Throughout the design process, Ecosign worked closely with the Club Med and Le Massif teams to create an outstanding destination and guest experience. Club Med de Charlevoix officially opened in 2021.
From 2018 to 2021, Ecosign continued work with Le Massif on the preparation of a master plan for a new resort village center and real estate near the Club Med Resort, ski-ski ski-out real estate concepts for the Grand-Pointe chalets and townhouses near the Grande-Pointe ski lift, real estate planning for the Sommet and Camp Boule bases as well as four-season recreational activity design to enhance the all-season experience.
