In 2009, Ecosign developed a Master Plan for Kolašin 1450 as part of the broader Bjelasica-Komovi Regional Study for Montenegro’s Ministry of Economic Development. The plan outlined renovations to existing facilities, enhancements to village and base areas, and the creation of a new ski-in/ski-out development at Kolašin 1600.
Since then, Kolašin has successfully implemented the plan, constructing three new lifts, with four more set to open in 2025. In 2021 and 2023, Ecosign returned to work on a Base Area Master Plan for the east base area of the resort, focusing on connecting the Jelovica Valley to Kolašin 1450.
We’re proud to see Kolašin bring this vision to life, establishing both base areas at 1450 and 1600 meters above sea level, transforming the region into a burgeoning mountain tourism destination.
