Ecosign crafted a visionary Master Development Plan for Kilimatan Winter Tourism Centre, Turkey, featuring state-of-the-art ski lifts, diverse winter activities, and a 360 net-developable ha base area with a pedestrian village, real estate, and year-round recreational opportunities.
In 2018, Ecosign prepared Master Development Plans for both mountain and base facilities at the proposed site of Kilimatan Winter Tourism Centre, 38 kilometres south of Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. The Mountain Master Plan lift system proposes a two-section detachable grip eight-passenger gondola, two detachable grip six-passenger chairlifts, two platter surface lifts and three moving carpet conveyor belt beginner lifts. Non-ski lifts include a moving carpet conveyor belt lift for the tube hill for a total comfortable capacity of 6,960 skiers per day. Additional winter activities were also considered in the study.
The base area development proposed in the Master Plan includes a total of 51 land use parcels: 43 parcels for real estate and commercial development and eight parcels reserved for park and recreation space for a combined area of 360 net-developable ha. The suggested land use designations include a pedestrian tourist village with commercial and guest service space, public overnight accommodation, private and public multi-family and single-family accommodation, day use parking, green space and park space, four season recreational activities and beginner snow play zones.
