Trevor Witt
Trevor Witt is a Resort Planner at Ecosign, where he develops comprehensive base area master plans for mountain resorts. His work includes land use planning, conceptual site design, illustrative drawings, site grading, village programming, summer recreation planning, and calculating base area capacities. Trevor also contributes to phasing strategies, master plan reports, presentations, and proposals. With a background in mountain planning, he brings valuable expertise in grading and lift alignment to his resort planning projects.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours) from the University of Guelph, where he studied design theory, plant identification, and environmental philosophy, while gaining technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, GIS/remote sensing, and hand sketching.
Originally from Collingwood, Ontario, Trevor’s passion for the outdoors grew through attending summer camps, fishing trips to Northern Ontario, portaging in Algonquin Provincial Park, working in lift operations and skiing at Blue Mountain Resort, and climbing throughout the province. His love for adventure has taken him across British Columbia, the United States, and Europe to experience world-class climbing destinations. Now based in Squamish, Trevor enjoys skiing at Whistler Blackcomb and throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor’s backcountry, as well as rock climbing on the Stawamus Chief and local crags. He has supported climbing advocacy and access groups in both Ontario and British Columbia, reflecting his commitment to preserving and enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities for all.
