Trevor Witt
Trevor Witt is Ecosign’s newest team member, joining the head office in February 2024. With a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours) from the University of Guelph, Trevor applies his expertise to design ski runs, lift alignments and mountain profiles. Primarily working in the mountain planning department, Trevor also assists the base planning department with designs and presentations. His most proud achievement of his career to date is landing his dream job with Ecosign, where he feels most engaged working with the team solving design problems and using his design software skills.
Growing up in Collingwood, Ontario, Trevor always had a passion for the outdoors: skiing at Blue Mountain in the winters and backcountry camping at Algonquin Provincial Park in the summers, he found landscape architecture as an avenue to blend his passion for being outdoors with inspiring others to enjoy nature as well. Now based in Squamish, Trevor is a skier and avid climber who calls the Squamish Chief his favourite mountain to recreate on, with Sky Pilot Mountain his preference for backcountry ski touring, and Blackcomb Mountain for resort skiing. When volunteering his time, Trevor supports climbing access groups with trail and climbing route development, garbage clean-up for local conservation areas, and engages in conversations about climbing access in threatened areas.
