Laura Mabboux brings a deep passion for sustainable mountain planning and a rich academic and professional background to Ecosign. She earned her Master’s degree in Geography and Mountain Planning from Université Savoie Mont-Blanc in the French Alps, specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), terrain analysis, and Computer-Aided Design. Before joining Ecosign in October 2024, Laura gained two years of experience in the ski industry in France, conducting studies to help identify new activities to develop in mountain resorts, adapting to emerging trends and shorter snow seasons.

Originally from a small village in the French Alps, Laura has been immersed in mountain culture her entire life. Her love for backcountry skiing, trail running, and biking reflects her deep connection to the mountains in every season. Her global adventures include unforgettable skiing in Norway’s Lofoten Islands, while her heart remains tied to the iconic slopes of Chamonix and her new-found powder days at Whistler Blackcomb.

At Ecosign, Laura is most engaged in designing trail systems, conducting ski area capacity calculations, and optimizing mountain resorts to enhance guest experiences. Her European mountain planning perspective uniquely equips her to blend tradition and innovation in designing sustainable, world-class resorts.
