Voss Fjellandsby Norway

Ecosign's Ski Area Master Plan for Voss Fjellandsby expertly optimizes land use and operational efficiency, preparing the ski resort to be capable of accommodating 13,380 skiers daily across stunning Norwegian terrain.
Voss Fjellandsby is in the Myrkdalen Valley in Norway, 25 km north of the town of Voss. Voss is located less than one hour from Bergen, and between the two most popular fjords in Norway: the Sognefjord and the Hardangerfjord. The Voss Fjellandsby ski area currently operates four lifts, including one platter lift and three T-Bars.
In 2008, Ecosign prepared a Ski Area Master Plan that analyzed the development potential of the land surrounding the ski area; optimized the use and operational efficiency of the proposed physical plant; balanced mountain capacity with guest services and parking; and provided base staging areas in balance with mountain access requirements.
In the final stage of development, the Voss Fjellandsby ski resort would be capable of supporting 13,380 skiers per day with 12 lifts and 74 ski pistes, totaling 72.6 km and 329.9 ha of ski terrain.
