Ecosign's Myler Mountain Resort project aims to transform a site near Yerevan, Armenia, into a premier alpine destination. Following a comprehensive feasibility study, the resort will feature year-round recreational activities, ski facilities, accommodations, and sustainable infrastructure, enhancing the region's appeal.
The proposed Myler Mountain Resort study area is situated within a one-hour drive from the City of Yerevan, Armenia. In the summer of 2018, Ecosign conducted a Golden Analysis Feasibility Study of the entire country of Armenia, with the mandate of identifying potential development sites which would be suitable for the development of a regional destination or national level mountain resort. The study concluded that there were at least five suitable sites. Finally, after conducting several helicopter and ground site inspections, reviewing geological weather, and solar data, Yeghipatrush was selected as the best mountain for skiing.
Myler Mountain Resort is a new ‘Greenfield’ project which focuses on development of alpine skiing facilities in the winter season and a variety of recreation and sightseeing activities during the winter, spring, summer and fall seasons. The mountain resort includes a system of lifts, ski trails and skiways, other winter and summer sport/recreational mountain structures and a ski service building restaurant. The base area development includes multi-use village buildings, accommodation development, pedestrian streets, trails and plazas, green areas, internal roads and surface parking areas, access road, winter, summer and four-season sport/recreation facilities.
Construction of Phase 1 of the resort commenced in 2022 with a soft opening in the winter season of 2023-2024. Phase 1 opening of the main gondola and parking lots is scheduled for winter 2024-2025. Ecosign continues to work closely with the client on the detailed planning for ski lifts and trails, Phase 1 of the resort village centre, and real estate development in the Myler Base area.
