Kolašin1450 & 1600 Montenegro

In 2009, Ecosign prepared a Master Plan for Kolašin 1450 and 1600 as part of the larger Bjelasica-Komovi Regional Study we conducted for the Republic of Montenegro’s Ministry of Economic Development. The Master Plan included a renovation of the existing facility, village and base area development, along with a new ski-in/ski-out development for Kolašin 1600.

Since 2009, Kolašin applied the Master Plan we prepared to build three new lifts, not including the four still under construction and scheduled to open in 2025. In 2021 and 2023, Ecosign worked with Kolašin 1450 on a Base Area Master Plan for the connection of the Jelovica valley on the east side of the resort. We’re proud to see that Kolašin has built both recommended base areas (1450 and 1600 – these numbers denote elevation above sea level), infusing the region with mountain tourism destination opportunities.
