Detailed Site Planning

Ecosign has largely been responsible for all master planning work on both mountains starting in 1975. For more than 45 years, Ecosign’s master plans have guided the development of Whistler Blackcomb. The Big Wow’s have included Whistler’s Peak Chair opening the high alpine terrain, the $26 million upgrade of Blackcomb with three detachable quad chairs in 1987, the Peak2Peak Gondola in 2009 just in time for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, and a $66 million renovation in 2018 including the Blackcomb Gondola with a ride time of 13 minutes from the base to the Rendezvous Lodge.
