In 2012, Ecosign completed a Mountain Transportation Study with Salt Lake County and its partners for the region within the Cottonwood Canyons.

Located east of Salt Lake City, Utah (population of 212,000), the purpose of the study was to facilitate safe, convenient, attractive and reliable year-round access to and within the region. Transportation options identified included an aerial tram, a monocable gondola, a tricable gondola, and a funitel.
