Valle Nevado is located in the Andes Mountains approximately 100 kilometres east of Santiago, Chile (population of 6.9 million) at an elevation of 3,025 metres. Valle Nevado offers access to the largest skiable domain in South America, nearly 6,400 hectares.
In 2005, Ecosign completed a detailed Resort Area Master Plan which consisted of phased improvements to the mountain facilities and a new proposed village site.
The purpose of the Valle Nevado Village concept is to create a social and commercial centre for the Valle Nevado Resort that provides recreational opportunities and commercial space servicing guests and skiers in the winter season, as well as the summer season. The village plan includes a recreational facilities building and a conference hotel to attract business in the shoulder seasons.
