Mt. Hotham Australia

Mount Hotham Resort is located in the Victorian Alps of southern Australia’s state of Victoria, 4 ¼ hours from Melbourne (population: 5 million).

After completing the technical analyses of the terrain suitability for skiing and snowboarding, base area and the existing facilities, Ecosign developed a preferred concept for the skiing and snowboarding development. For the ski area design, 25 lifts were proposed to create a skier carrying capacity of approximately 9,630 skiers per day.

In the base area, the village concept includes three new condotel style buildings with commercial, recreation and skier service space on the ground floor . The three condotel buildings contain approximately 141 units of accommodation and 572 pillows, assuming an average net unit size of 107 square metres.
