Snow Paradise Hasliberg-Frutt-Titlis, BE-OW-NW, Switzerland

  
    Ecosign carried out a Technical Feasibility study that recommended the connection of four existing ski areas of Engelberg-Titlis and Melchsee-Frutt in Obwalden, and Hasliberg in the Berner Highlands. This merge may result in the Titlis Connection covering over 210 kms of ski pistes.

  In our 2003 study, Ecosign recommended that the four companies of Bergbahnen Engelberg-Trübsee Titlis AG, Sportbahnen Melchsee-Frutt, Sportbahnen Hasliberg-Käserstatt AG, and Meiringen-Hasliberg-Bahnen AG connect their ski areas together using 8 chair lifts and a new tramway with investments totaling SFr59 million. Ecosign believes that the Snow Paradise Hasliberg-Frutt-Titlis can be completed within a 7 to 10-year period and that all of the companies involved will benefit from this arrangement as will the existing and future guests.
